Hope Hearts: Infinity Scarves and Snoods
Scarves have been a mainstay in our wardrobe for a widespread while, and this coming F/W 2010 season will be no different. This year, however, the scarf’s got a cozy cousin who’s taking all the preeminence. Properly known as a snood or an infinity scarf, these cozy accoutrements are like giant circles that wrap and double-wrap around the neck to give a super soft finish to many of your Fall 2010 ensembles. The circular loop is often composed of the coziest cashmere and is like a layer of luxury.
- My favourites for Fall 2010 include the affordable Adidas by Stella McCartney cable-knit, wool-blend snood. More casual than our other examples, you can stay stylish whilst getting your sport on this winter. Stella McCartney’s take on the snood is a sumptuous choice for both on and off the ski slopes. Adidas by Stella McCartney cable-knit wool-blend snood, $70, Net-A-Porter.
- Done in the designer shade iron, this deepest dark grey cashmere infinity scarf by Donna Karan is an effortlessly elegant way to warm up almost any outfit once the weather cools. Whether you dress it up or down, Donna Karan infinity scarf will help you conquer the layered look with ease. Donna Karan ribbed cashmere infinity scarf, $695, Net-A-Porter.
- Work the runway in a real way by styling this Michael Kors cashmere cable-knit snood over your favourite boyfriend blazer and slouchy wide-leg pants. This banker grey cashmere snood is surprisingly light-weight (don’t let the thick ribbing fool you). Michael Kors cashmere cable-knit snood, $795, Net-A-Porter.
