Monday Encouragement: Isaiah 41:10
Written by H, Posted in Christian Living, Encouragement
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Isaiah 41:10 is a great example of the encouragement found within the book of Isaiah. The book of Isaiah is filled with so many countless encouraging verses, which all reflect on the power and love and providence of our Lord God.
In verse 10, there are several layers and parts that stand out to me, and that provide reassurance, hope, strength, and peace:
“Fear not, for I am with you”: God is always with us. He is with you, day and night, no matter what you’re going through. That’s a promise! I love in the first part of verse 10 how we are commanded to “Fear not,” because God is with us. What a promise! What an encouragement! We have no reason to fear, because God is with us.
“Be not dismayed, for I am your God”: Dismay is another word for distress, usually instigated by something unexpected. In Isaiah 41:10, we are encouraged to be not dismayed. Why? “for I am your God”. We serve the Living Christ, Who conquered death for us, so there is no reason to be dismayed. This is something I need to constantly remind myself of, especially when life throws curve balls my way.
“I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you”: God promises to provide us with strength, and with help. When you’re feeling like you can’t go on or you just don’t know how you’re going to get through the day, God will be right with you to provide you with the strength and help you need, to get through whatever you’re facing.
“I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”: God promises to uphold us. More than that, He promises to uphold us with His righteous right hand. That means, when you lose your footing, He’s going to be there to hold you up, if you’ll trust in Him. What I love about this verse, is that we are told God will uphold us with His righteous right hand. Righteous: Pure, virtuous, upstanding, ethical, honest. Regardless of your circumstances, God is righteous. And He will uphold you with His right hand. His right hand! Throughout scripture, God’s right hand is mentioned several times. Historically, to be put on someone’s right hand is to be held in equal honour. God’s right hand also symbolizes His power and His greatness.
Whatever you’re facing this week, remember Isaiah 41:10 and claim it for yourself!

Life can be so difficult sometimes. My faith is weak. I need to feel God’s promises. Anxiety and fear are crushing me. I feel like I’m losing my mind. My son has been raped and has had many other traumas. He has turned to drugs for comforting as many have done and I can’t bare to see what he is going through. I have no control and cannot help him. I’ve been begging God for help and wisdom. I don’t know how much more I can take. The seas are crashing around the boat. I am going to drown. Lord please calm the seas.
Praying for you.
Good morning Brian. My name is Lisa. I just couldn’t sleep and I got out of my bed to rad a scripture which I found on a piece a paper I came across while clearing out a box of papers. The scripture is Isaiah 41:10, with our Heavenly Father telling us’ “FEAR NOT, FOR I AM WITH YOU”, and that He is. Brian I know that this is a very difficult battle for you because it’s your child. As many parents feel when something happens to our children, “take the pain from them and give it to me”. However, you must believe that your son will get through this. Because this is something that you cannot undo, ask our Heavenly Father to let this be you son’s testimony as God brings him through this ordeal. I pray that you and your son are in a better place now because this was back in January of 2020, and as we continue on in life, we begin to experience healing for both us and our children. I am going to pray for the both of you. God Bless you both.
No, you will not drown. Because you’ve called out his name, he will help you. READ PSALMS 91.Prayer for protectin.

Praying for you
This verse is powerful, I’ll trust unto the lord God all the days of my life.🙌
When I read the previous comments I am ashamed at my pity party, thank you , Jesus for your strength and kindness. My downs don’t see so important when I realized who my Father is
Powerful message, I will continue claiming it all days of my life
This verse really encourages me to put my trust in the Lord. He is the only one who can help me through my problems. He is the most high King and the Lord of Lords.
Lord I feel weak and stuck. I put all my hope in you to make a way for me. Your promises keep me going. Please God, come to my aid and fill my life with your light. Amen
Praise the Lord !We live in hard times. The only way is the lords way.Welove you Jesus. Please watch over our family keep them safe.
In the midst of all that we’re going through, Jesus made us a promise. God is not like man; He always keeps his promises. He says in Mark 28:20 Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
No matter what we are experiencing/facing, because God is with us; there is nothing that God cannot handle. Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.
God, please lead us on this journey, keep your Angels Wings around us and give me clarity in all the decisions I need to make up to Sunday. If we walk through danger, let the virus fly right past us. I believe like a child. Keep me in Your peace, let all anxious thoughts be replaced by action, step by step. Amen
My adult daughter has extreme anxiety. Hasn’t been able to work much or succeed in life. She walked away from the Lord and is holding on to unbelief. She struggle s with suicidal thoughts. I pray God that you will deliver her and everyone else who has commented here. Hang onto 41:10. God is real. His desire is that no one should perish. Lord rescue the weak deceived, deliver the captives for your name sake!!!!
Thanks for sharing
This one of my favorite scriptures, I say it aloud very often and it helps we get through everything.
You are right life can throw you some curve balls. Reading Isaiah 41: 10, reminds me that i am not along when storms come into my life. How bless we are to have God, who loves us and strengthen us when can’t do it for ourselves.
